  • Yesterday was the first student council vote.  Now we have to wait until Monday before we get the results of who the top six out of the twelve people running are.  The people running in 8th grade are: Me, Alex D., Brian, Charlotte, Christian, Claire, Emma, Grant, Jeff, John, Terry, and Trevor.  I really hope I make top six.

Saturday was Char's surprise birthday party, which was cool.  Sunday was Cody's birthday party (he invited all of the 7th and 8th graders).  He had it at Bimbos, a really famous club in SF that hosts a lot of high profile events.  Monday was community service day, and my advisory went to a park to dig up bad grass/weed type stuff.  We went to lunch at Pasta Pomodoro afterwards, and then came back and watched Super Size Me.  Tuesday was our only full day of school, and we had the elections during lunch.

I went to the chiropractor after school... my back should not be this bad at age 13.  I figured out I'm more aware of my body then most people, so I can always feel it when something is wrong.  It's does have its benifits though, because I notice pains or sicknesses right away in my body, if I had a serious problem I would probably know to get it fixed before other people might.  For people who have little awareness of their body, they might only figure out that they have a problem once its gotten really bad.

Yesterday was grandparents/special friends day.  I was kind of weird because we only had 4 people in my PE class, me, Mai, Alex D, and Shana.  Mai's brother and grandpa were there too.  Everyone else was either out of town, on tech crew, or rehearsing to sing in the little performance thing.  The only classes we had were math, humanities, and PE.  Then we had the performance and went home.  Yay.

At like 9 or so at night, I went bowling for a really good deal.  My dad was nice enough to take me, even though his hip is hurting him so he wasn't able to bowl.  I kept getting nines in every frame.  There were some older hooligan teenagers in the lanes next to me, and the guys were throwing the bowling ball like a shotput, high in the air trying to get it as far down the lane as they could.  Must not have been very good for the ball, the lane, or their brain.  Another girl threw it one time like a discus, swinging it around and around right as I was about to come up.  I was scared for my life.  Funkytown saved me though.

At like 8:30 in the morning we are leaving for Thanksgiving in LA.  We are going to have a Thanksgiving dinner tonight (wow it's tonight already!  Even though it's 1:30 in the morning) with my moms side of the family, tommorow with my dad's, and then a saturday brunch with my dad's side and the Gershon family (reunion woo hoo).  I get back Sunday night, so I guess I'll see everyone at school Monday... yuck... school.
